A&M Trees, LLC has tree moving equipment capable of relocating trees up to a 9" diameter trunk and evergreens up to 20 feet tall. Smaller trees are moved with our bobcat mounted spades. Our tree spades measure 24", 28", 34", 48", 65" and 90”.
When there are leaves on a tree, we will wrap shade cloth tarps around the tree limbs during the moving process to protect the leaves from wind burn.
We are often asked about potential damage to a lawn when a large tree is being moved/transplanted. A&M Trees, LLC does try to minimize any potential damage by using machines with rubber tracks. Another option, which does incur some additional cost, is driving on plywood.
Before any tree is moved, site preparation is required. You must call Digger's Hotline at 811 or 800-242-8511 to have underground power lines identified prior to A&M Trees, LLC arrival.
The cost to relocate/move trees varies greatly. Factors that affect the cost are size and number of trees, distance to be traveled, and general conditions of the project.
